Full requirements
RTA's fixed-route reduced fares cover seniors age 60 or older, qualifying riders with disabilities, Medicare cardholders and eligible veterans, with accepted identification required when boarding. Medi-Cal cards are not accepted as disability proof; an RTA disability-ID application may require professional certification or another accepted document. Active-duty military and uniformed police/fire personnel, and active Riverside County jurors with valid summons identification, have separate free-ride rules. Check RTA's route and fare conditions; these discounts do not automatically apply to another transit agency.
