Full requirements

SCE's standard ESA program serves income-qualified owners and renters with an active SCE residential-meter account in a single-family or mobile home; buildings with four or fewer units qualify as single-family for this program. Households must meet the current income limits or qualify through an accepted assistance program, and the contractor must assess the home and each proposed measure. For June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027, the annual limits include $39,900 for one person and $82,500 for four people. Renters may need written owner permission, and separate ESA Whole Home and Building Electrification pilots have closed to new applications rather than the entire standard ESA program.
