Recommendation
Award the construction contract agreement to the lowest responsive bidder, Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement, and make substantive changes as necessary, by and between Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. and the City of Desert Hot Springs for the Construction of the 9-1 Palm Drive Safety Improvement Project, Federal Project No. HSIPL-5384(023), City Project No. 3019 in the amount of $355,676, and approve a 10% contingency amount of $35,567.60, and as-needed inspection services of $15,720, which brings the total project budget to $406,963.60.
