1) Resolution to Amend General Plan Zoning Map to Correct a Typographical Error to Reflect the Proper Zoning Designation for the Area Bounded by Yucca Drive, 12th Street, Palm Drive and Mesquite Avenue; and 2) An Ordinance to Amend the General Plan Zoning Map to Be Consistent With the General Plan Land Use Map for That Same Location

1) Staff Report; 2) Entertain questions of Staff from the City Council 3) Open Public Hearing; 4) Take public testimony from those favor; 5) Take public testimony from those opposed; 6) Take public testimony from those in a neutral position; 7) Close the Public Hearing; 8) City Council discussion; and 9) A) Adopt a Resolution of the City Council amending the General Plan Zoning Map to correct a typographic error to reflect the proper zoning designation for the area bounded by Yucca Dr., 12th Street, Palm Drive and Mesquite Avenue; and B) Introduce for First Reading and read by title only: "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Desert Hot Springs, California, amending the General Plan Zoning Map to be consistent with the General Plan Land Use Map for the area bounded by Yucca Drive, 12th Street, Palm Drive and Mesquite Avenue, correcting a typographical error in the General Plan Zoning Map.

Approve Staff recommendation and adopt Resolution No. 2022-020 .
