Recommendation
1) Staff Report; 2) Entertain questions of Staff from the City Council; 3) Open the Public Hearing; 4) Take testimony of those in favor of Proposed Fee Increase; 5) Take testimony of those in opposition to Proposed Fee Increase; 6) Take testimony in a neutral position; 7) Close the Public Hearing; 8) City Council discussion and questions to Staff; and 9) If no majority protest exists, adopt "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Desert Hot Springs approving the solid waste fee increase in the amounts as provided in Exhibit A, and declaring that no majority protest exists;" OR 10) If a majority protest exists, do NOT adopt the attached Resolution.
