1) Staff Report; 2) Entertain questions of Staff from the City Council; 3) Open the Public Hearing; 4) Take testimony from those in favor; 5) Take testimony from those in opposition; 6) Take testimony from those in a neutral position; 7) Close the Public hearing; 8) City Council discussion and questions to Staff; 9) Planning Commission recommends that the City Council adopt A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Desert Hot Springs, California, 1) Finding the Housing Element for the Sixth Cycle (2021- 2029) Project Exempt Under the California Environmental Quality Act, 2) Adopting the Housing Element for the Sixth Cycle (2021- 2029), and 3) Directing Staff to mail the Housing Element for the Sixth Cycle to the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), for Their 90-Day Review."

Approve Staff recommendation and adopt Resolution No. 2021-054.
