Recommendation

1) Staff Report; 2) Entertain questions of Staff from the City Council; 3) Open Public Hearing; 4) Take public testimony; 5) Close the Public Hearing; 6) City Council discussion and questions to Staff; and 7) Adopt the Resolution of the City Council of the City of Desert Hot Springs, California, adopting the Housing Element for the Sixth Cycle (2021-2029); directing Staff to mail the Housing Element for the Sixth Cycle to the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), for their 90-day review; and find the Project exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act.
