Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council prioritize the allocation of the estimated $2.1 m illion in the Housing Authority Fund towards initiatives that demonstrate the greatest potential for community impact. Staff is recommending the policy direction to be soliciting the award of an affordable housing developer and land bank in the downtown area for an affordable housing development.
