Recommendation
Consider Cannabis Task Force recommendations and provide direction as the City Council deems appropriate.
Action taken
1 : Eliminate the tax rate of $25.50 (for the first 0-3,000 square feet) and set a flat rate of $10.20 per square foot beginning July 1, 2021. | 2 : That the City Council continue the Cannabis Task Force; that the City Council appoint a member to the Task Force, should they choose to do so; and that Task Force member names be published. | 3 : That the Cannabis Task Force continue its work and report back to the City periodically; that the City Council be informed of when Task Force meetings take place; and that at the discretion of City Staff, the Task Force be comprised of experts and residents as City Staff deems fit.
